Alice Holloway

Royal College of Art

Alice is a bespoke clothing designer maker and commons researcher, exploring regenerative methods for participatory clothing systems.

Alice has been exploring sustainable fashion through bootstrap entrepreneurship since graduating Central Saint Martins in 2008.

Her experience spans designing for startups and running short-run production (Studio Pia and Coco De Mer). In 2023 she was granted a Innovate UK Creative Catalyst Grant to develop a range of digitally knitted, merino lace underwear.

She put her MA in Design for The Cultural Commons into practise as Centre Manager of The Remakery MakerSpace in Brixton, where she has co-designed an SPFUK funded incubator for mission led founders.
